Common Questions
Can I get salting without plowing?
Yes. Standalone salt and sand applications are common for freezing rain, refreeze events, and light frost where there is no snow to plow.
When do you use sand instead of salt?
Salt loses effectiveness as temperatures drop. In very cold conditions, or where traction matters more than melting, sand is the better choice — and we can combine the two.
Will salt damage my pavement or landscaping?
Over-application is what causes damage, which is why we run calibrated spreaders rather than eyeballing rates. We can also discuss lower-impact materials for sensitive areas.
Do you keep records of applications?
Yes. Commercial accounts get every application logged with time and date, which is the documentation insurers ask for after a slip-and-fall claim.
